What would you do with $26,000,000 to build a better NZ?

NZ will hold a referendum in 2016 on changing the national flag. PM John Key has put the chances of achieving change at “50-50” but opinion polls have shown most New Zealanders want to retain the existing flag.

The flag change will require two referendums and the cost currently sits at $26 million. 

A Unicef NZ Report released just this week, shows that NZ child poverty rates have improved by less than 0.5% since 2008.

We want to know what you think, and what you would spend $26 million on to better NZ. We will turn the best ideas into creatively designed flag ideas ready for submission.
