IMPROVE DEMOCRACY: Pledge To Call Or Write To A Decision Maker Once A Month

11 PLEDGES
500 pledges

"The power of personal contact with a decision maker can never be underestimated. These people are voting or making decisions on behalf of their constituents or shareholders constantly, and it might be your voice that is resonating in their head when they do so."

Talking to your decision maker helps prove you're serious about making a change. This pledge could include sending an email to an MP about a policy issue, or the CEO of a retail store about their choice to stock fairtrade goods. It can be positive emails of encouragement for ethical choices as well as lobbying emails asking them to make different choices. And we'll be here making it really easy for you to keep this resolution by setting up email-writing or calling campaigns for you to join throughout the year.
